Specialist one-to-one Study Skills Support
(SpLD and AS)
Specialist one-to-one Study Skills Support is individual support for students diagnosed with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) autism spectrum disorder (ASD). These may include Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyscalculia, Aspergers Syndrome or Autism, in addition to other possible disabilities. Tutors work with students on a one-to-one basis delivering literacy support, promoting independent learning and empowering the student to manage their work load. Study skills cannot be subject specific tuition, although tutors can work with a student using course materials as a framework.
Tutors also provide support with a range of memory, organisational, attention and numeracy difficulties that students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often face when in further and/or higher education. View our rates card.
Study Skills Tutors can help with:

One-to-one Academic English Support is individual support for students of languages other than English who are studying at English-speaking Universities. Tutors work with students on a one-to-one basis delivering language and literacy support and promoting Study Skills knowledge to improve the student’s time management and organisational skills, efficient reading of academic texts, note taking and research skills, essay writing methods and more.
English Language Support cannot be subject specific tuition, although tutors can work with a student using course materials as a framework. View our rates card.

Academic English Language Tutors can help with:
• Academic grammar and vocabulary
• Formal academic writing style
• General Study Skills such as reading techniques, proof reading strategies, how to approach and plan written assignments, how to analyse exam/essay questions, etc.
English Exam Preparation
(IELTS, Cambridge, Linguaskills)
Our English Exam Preparation Service will enable you to do your best in any upcoming English language exams. We can not only provide you with one-to-one English language tuition, we can also offer tips and advice on:

• The structure of your chosen exam (what you will need to do/ How long you will need to do it).
• Examples of the type of questions you will need to do.
• Practice in the various sections with hints on how to get the best score possible.

Our Tutors are experienced Teachers in English for Academic Purposes in UK Universities, are TESOL qualified with postgraduate qualifications in Education and are Certificated Examiners in both Cambridge Writing and Speaking Exams (of all levels) as well as the online spoken Linguaskills qualification.
